Zombies
Zombies roam the map, chase contestants and drain their HP. Most belong to a Necromancy contestant.
- Horde: viewers release 50 zombies at random points in the safe zones. Horde zombies have no owner.
- Summon: a Necromancy contestant summons a zombie where they stand, up to 3 times every 6 h.
- Death: when any contestant dies, every living Necromancy contestant gets a zombie within 10 m of themselves.
- Horde bonus: when a horde is released, every living Necromancy contestant also gets 5 zombies where they stand.
- Guard: when a contestant dies within 50 m of a Necromancy contestant, a guard zombie appears 10 m from the gravestone.
- A Necromancy contestant can own up to 10 zombies at once. Guards do not count. At the limit, they get no new zombies.
- Horde zombies: 20 min.
- Summoned, death and horde-bonus zombies: 20 min.
- Guard zombies: 1 h.
- Zombies keep going after their owner dies.
- A zombie chases the nearest contestant it can target, at any distance, at 0.4 m/s.
- It cannot target Necromancy contestants, its own owner, invisible contestants, contestants the server cannot locate, or contestants who are immune to zombies.
- Once it picks a target, it keeps chasing that target for at least 3 s, unless the target can no longer be targeted.
- A zombie stops chasing a contestant it has already drained to its limit.
- Several zombies chasing the same contestant spread out around them.
- With no target, a zombie stands still. Guard zombies never move.
- A zombie drains every contestant within 5 m of it, not only its target: 1 HP for every 10 s of continuous contact.
- Each zombie can drain at most 15 HP from each contestant. Damage that is blocked or absorbed by body armor does not count towards the limit.
- Guard zombies drain 2 HP every 5 s from everyone within 10 m, up to 30 HP per contestant.
- HP drained by a Necromancy contestant's zombie goes to that contestant, while they are alive. HP drained by horde zombies goes to nobody.
- Zombies do not drain while damage is paused.
-
Necromancy contestants are never chased or drained. - A Shield, a Safety bubble or a Reality Shield makes you immune.
- Zombie repellent: zombies ignore the holder and everyone within 20 m of them.
- Invisibility cloak: zombies cannot chase you, but a zombie that is already next to you still drains you.
- Body armor absorbs zombie damage until it breaks.
