Visibility
What you can see on the map, and how to hide or blind others.
- You can see every living contestant on the map, at any distance.
- Positions on the map can run behind real time.
- Open a contestant to see their sigil, HP and inventory, at any distance.
- The nearby list shows contestants within 10 m. You need a live location for it.
- In anonymous mode, names and avatars are hidden and nobody can open another contestant's details.
- Everyone can see claymores, Safety Bubbles, tear gas, zombies, unsafe circles, Reality Shields and Endurance drops.
- Only the owner can see a placed C4.
- Fake chests and fake gravestones look real to everyone except the Trolling contestant who placed them.
- A gravestone's contents show only within 10 m. A crate's contents show only after someone opens it.
- Missiles show as incoming, with their blast circle. Everyone can see who a drone is aimed at.
- An Invisibility cloak hides you for 1 h: from other contestants, from the nearby list and from the public map.
- While invisible, nobody can target you with darts, knives, machetes or drones, or send you bond or trade requests.
- Zombies cannot chase you, but a zombie that is already next to you still drains you.
- You can still attack while invisible, and attacking does not end it.
- You still take damage.
- A blacked-out contestant sees nothing on the map: no contestants, zombies, chests or incoming missiles.
- A blacked-out contestant cannot use the nearby list, open other contestants, or trade, except with a bonded partner.
- EMP: blacks out every other contestant in the game for 30 min.
- Smoke bomb: blacks out other contestants within 50 m of you for 20 min.
- An EMP keeps working after the contestant who used it dies.
